Visual Studio 2008

I like programing as a hobby. About an year ago, I've discoverd Visual Studio. I can say that the Express editions on the Microsoft site are very useful, currently I am using VS2008 C#. It helped me with some school projects. So go ahead and download them for free. You won't regret it!

ASUS R50A

Info about the ASUS R50A is available for all fans. It's slyk, it has a 4.8-inch screen, with 3 and 3.5G connectivity. And that's not all: this gadget has built-in GPS, a TV tuner, a webcam and microphone. No info about the battery though. But with so many gadgets I don't think it will last an hour :).

Terrabyte disk

They named it Teradisc and it looks like a CD/DVD. Don't be fooled! Space: 1 TB (1000 GB). How can this be done? Teradisc can record 200 DVD-like virtual layers (each storing 5 GB of data), with the help of a complex process. A regular CD has 1 layer and a Blu-Ray disk has up to 8. The reason nobody can add more layers on a regular CD/DVD/Blu-Ray disk is because when the light passes through these layers it becomes distorted and by the time it reaches the final layers it becomes almost impossible to read/write on the disk.
The guys at Mempile who made the disc say it will be available in 2010 and it's going to be really cheap.

MacBook Air

The MacBook Air is here!
The thinest notebook in the world was launched by Apple. It has a Intel Core 2 Duo processor (1.6 GHz or 1.8 GHz, depends on which version), widescreen LED display-13.3 inch, 2GB RAM memory, 80GB HDD, Wireless (802.11n) and Bluetooth 2.1. Pretty nice, if you ask me.
The biggest disadvantage: price; starting at 1799$...
